Dssappointment for me, I expected more. They have dried fruits, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. The prices to me quite high.
I was expecting more diverse goods.

You can find almost anything in here, especially dried fruits and nuts etc... You should always expect to do some bargaining especially if you aren’t local. Also, you shouldn’t directly buy what you’ve gone shopping for from the first seller. It’s always better to keep looking then compare prices, quality etc and then make your decision.

Not so much things to see, it's ok, not sure about prices... Anyway it's not a must go place in Yerevan with food and things that you cannot find somewhere else. You can go for a short visit but I suggest to not have high expectations. Markets like this or even better are quite common in Caucasus and some former Soviet countries.

Visited Sunday Christmas eve 5th January.
Not all stalls open but dried fruit stalls were excellent.
Would be better on a normal market day.

Nice market in the heart of Yerevan. Worth the visit if you wanna buy some local food. I bought lavash and some coffee beans that I'll carry home. The selection of fruit you can find is very very particular. Prices are good, even if they tend to increase a bit the prices for foreigners
