I can't really fathom why anyone would want to shop at SAS supermsrket unless it is after 22:00 and other supermarkets are closed in the immediate vicinity and one is too lazy to walk to City Yerevan supermarket which is also open 24/7. The locally made products (ie Armenian dairy products, mineral water, food items etc.) are 20% - 30% more expensive than anywhere else and a lot of the high end products (ie high grade imported salt, pepper, brown sugar, fancy pasta, spreads etc.) are more often than not well past their expiry date. As is often the case in Yerevan the employees (especially the girls) are chosen based on their looks and how good they can walk on high heels but don't expect to get any advice on anything because they often don't have a clue (and no they are not pretending. They really think smiling and looking attractive is what retail is all about).

Super convenient location in the city center and has quite a selection of items. Also has a money exchange for Euros, Dollars, and Georgian Lari. Only annoying thing is how small all the isles are; the place is pretty claustrophobia-inducing. They play dance music often

Had the place been a little larger, it would've taken a 5-star rating from me. Otherwise, I rarely failed to find the items I was looking for. The shopping experience is also great. They have a loyalty programme that I thought, being on a short stay in Armenia, would not benefit me. Then I realized I could've at least got something in return. I recommend this place.

Very convenient and good selection of alcohol. The exchange rates are slightly less favorable than Fast Credit.

Another store of the famously expensive supermarket chain in Armenia. The service is great but the prices are not reasonable. You can get the same products from other markets and pay 30% less. Unless you need some superb 24h service there is no need to waste your money here.
