Great service and fluent in English from all the Hertz staff. The car we rented was very good and new. Good price, no hidden terms and conditions and fair deposit rules. You also can cross the border to Georgia if you want to travel more. I would highly recommend you rent your car with Hertz!

Almost certainly fraudulent, do no use them.
Please please please do not make the same mistake as we did and hire a car from Hertz Armenia. Apart from the car being of shocking quality (massive dents, no windscreen wiper fluid etc) and the surly and hard to contact staff that you have to face, you are likely to be defrauded when you return from your holiday.
Four months after returning, I was charged 104,500 AMD for 6 speeding tickets. Now, I was an incredibly careful driver whilst in Armenia, so I knew something was up. After many many weeks of chasing this up, I asked them to provide scans of the speeding fines. They were unable to do this, and very quickly informed me that in fact the tickets had been incurred by another customer and incorrectly charged to me. Likely story.
Interestingly, I note that many many others report a similar tale, so I can be sure that this is happening to a large number of tourists who use this shocking company. Avoid like the plague.

Thank you Hertz for this outstanding experience!
Unknown charges 4 months after the end of the rental (USD 170 for a police ticket?! Really?!), no replies to emails for providing the documentary proofs, etc - this is True Hertz Armenia.
And that is after I've got a car that should have been disposed years ago (2 of 4 doors did not open from outside, "Check engine" light lit after 50 km of my travel, radio fell out, cigarette holes and overall the impression was that the car was used to carry cocaine by Mexican cartels for few years).
And that is after about an hour waiting for an employee during the of the working hours (3 PM) to pick up the car while he was out solving own problems nearby.

Staff was not at desk for pick up and return and in both instances we had to wait for up to an hour. When returning the car we asked the information center to call in the staff. The car was full of scratches and the employee was quite reluctant to put it all on the paper. We had to insist to have it all in and I'm pretty sure he missed some of damages. It was then discussed heavily when returning the car and they charged us. The breaks of the car were not the best but other than that it did the job. The employees were not really friendly or helpful. It took around 45 minutes at pick up for the employee to put all the information of the rental and driver in the system although we already put everything in when booking. The information he then put was misplaced for every single details. He even indicated the wrong date for driver licence expiry date and did not seem disturbed by the fact that the date was in the past. No too worried about giving cars without valid licence apparently...

I had an excellent experience with this company. The booking process was easy. They also have an app that makes things easier. I rented the cheapest car but I regretted it and asked to upgrade. The upgrade process was smooth. We agreed on a price but they actually ended up charging much less. I highly recommend them.
