The Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture was founded on July 21, 1945 by the decision of the Council of People's Commissars of Armenia. Has coaching, pedagogical and sports faculties, postgraduate studies (since 1995), distance learning department. Training of qualified specialists in 26 specialties: gymnastics, skiing, wrestling, weightlifting, boxing, fencing, athletics, swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, handball, billiards, chess, football with sports, Kinesiologist, region, journalist. Publishes "Hay Ari" (previously "Oanogh-Marzik") official newspaper. The students of the institute acquire professional skills in general education և region, in schools, in medical institutions (kinesiologists) ներում in media editorial offices (region, journalists).
