I would give zero stars if it's an option. Psychologically unstable staff. Rude. Dirty. Horrible restrooms. Horrible pricing for comparable places.

Upon arrival at the property we were informed that the room we had reserved was not available. The staff were rude and didn’t even make an effort to apologize. Rather, they pushingly tried to give us bunk beds in a dorm instead of the private room we booked. It seems they do this systematically, as hours after our departure the room still showed up as normally available on booking platforms. In the end, we are pretty glad it turned out this way as the place didn’t feel very inviting.

The location is perfect. You can take a bus right in front of the Airport to the Opera bus stop, the hostel is a few steps from it. Almost every place of interest, as well as restaurants, bars and pubs are within walking distance, and for those located far from the centre you have all the public transport around, metres away from the hostel. The staff is super friendly and kind, and the guests too. It feels like home. The property is spacious, with natural light coming through windows and balconies. There's a living-room with comfortable sofas and a big tv, a kitchen equipped with everything you might need, and the mixed dorm is big, with enough room to be comfortable and keep your luggage, and access to the front balcony. There are private rooms as well. All in all, great value for money and a nice place to stay. Definitely my choice for the next time I come to Armenia and this gorgeous city.
