Definitely a place must go if you want to see local life and taste some local food in Armenia. They have very neat stalls selling vegetables in one section, and another sections selling different goods and products. I enjoyed shopping for some high quality nuts, fried fruits and spices here so that I can bring back authentic souvenirs to my friends. You can sample the products before purchasing. People here are friendly and helpful. I suggest bringing some Walnuts and dried apricots or dates from here. They are really good quality! Come during mid day, it will be less crowded.

All the local fresh fruit, meat , cheese, bread and dried fruit. All sorts of spices and olives. Its a huge area with lots of fresh products. Clothing shops upstairs. Not much souvenirs.. You bargain with prices and ask several shops before buying your items.

This is under the same roof as the gum market. We bought some cherries but we've no idea whether we paid more or not. There's fresh meat, fruits and vegetables here.

Great market place to visit. Spices, fruits, typical armenian bread and lots of other things. Great place for pictures and for buying something to bring home.

Nice market! Sometimes it’s worth to bargain a bit :)
