Terrible service. Paid for a triple room yet only got a twin room with 3 sets of everything except a 3rd bed, room was too small to fit in a 3rd bed..after complaining to hotel reception, they gave us a suite room without a 3rd bed and told us to use the mini sofa instead. When we gave feedback that it was too small to sleep on, staff said we should be grateful for a suite room. The staff really does not understand customers - we pay for triple room and we expect a room with 3 beds, not suite rooms with 2 beds nor a twin room.....

Very clean, cosy yet formal hotel. I like the breakfast and the rooftop bar called redpoint. For a 4 star hotel there were some shortcomings but nothing worth mentioning just small issues which were resolved automatically. The rooms are clean and very quiet although the hotel it self is located in a semi-crowded area. We loved the view from the 13th floor definitely worth the visit.

Update: sorry if this is late, but it is only fair that i post what happened during the second half of our stay at Ramada Yerevan. The manager on duty was Vahe (i think that's how his name is spelled) came around after being notified what had happened with our booking. He took the initiative to sort out the rooms and eventually found a triple room (suite) for us, considering how the other staff couldn't be bothered to do anything other than deflect the issue. Vahe also took the time to explain and apologize for the mix up (on behalf of the staff), and chatted with us. Reflecting back, I'll say the service is good, but perhaps some junior staff needs to learn how to take initiative to fix problems, instead of leaving it to the colleagues on next work shift to bear the burden of figuring out what to do. We commend Vahe for taking responsibility and helping us out even though our stay at Ramada was only 2 nights. If we do plan another trip to Armenia, we will consider booking with Ramada again. [Only after the whole trip, that we discovered was the unclear instructions from the side of the booking agency (silk road armenia) that led to this.] Experience of what happened here: 2 nights' stay. Facilities was ok. Hotel is inconveniently located. Hospitality/service of hotel staff is sub par. We booked a triple room and got a very small twin room with no 3rd bed...informed hotel staff, they were resistant to hearing us out and argued, said they can switch our rooms but they'll charge us more. Like how did this happen since we booked a triple room and agree to pay for it?? Then, they switched our rooms to a real "triple room", BUT it did not have a 3rd bed. They rectified it by wrapping bedsheets on the small narrow sofa (not proper sofa bed). Also, we needed help with dragging luggages to the hotel, had informed them in advance, but when the porter came, he only stood there arguing with our driver and we had to struggle with our luggages all the way to the hotel (in our group we have elderly travellers). Tip for other travellers: moderate expectations - service standard across different Ramada hotels vary greatly. Also, upon check-in if they ask for passports to be photocopied for records, the staff were not careful and forgot to return 1 of our passports...
