Very well maintained museum, chronicling the history of mankind. Many exhibits need to be labelled in English yet. Couple of floors are not open for public. Detailed brochures are not available. Some pamphlets in Armenian, Russian, English, Hindi are available at the entrance. Requires at least three hours to go through.

This is in the same building as the History Museum. Don't confuse the two, they have separate entry tickets - go upstairs for the art collection ticket desk. 1500 dram for adult entry. A decent collection of European, Russian and Armenian art. There is also temporary exhibition space that costs extra. Galleries stretch over six floors.
