Children's railway is a really nice way to take a walk in all seasons together with friends and others. The way to the end of the railway is really beautiful and offers a lot of river and tree sights to make your walk as relaxing as it can. And during other seasons than summer it is usually very quiet and not crwoded at all - definitely a hidden gem not many tourists go to!

Not sure why anybody would give this place one star! The station and train are in need of some upkeep and refurbishment but in the warmer months when the train is operating it is the perfect place to bring kids...or any train lover. The working train is fantastic and the track itself is short but in a gorge surrounded by trees. It doesn't feel like you are in the middle of a city. Yerevan should wake up and take better care of this place, it is special.

We had a really nice time at the children’s railway and we enjoined the experience. However, as the entrance station we got to was temporarily closed (Gyermekvasut) it was nearly impossible to find an alternative entry or even clear information regarding what’s going on. Even when getting to the open station it was quite difficult to understand what’s available at every station. Other than this - great fun :)

Amazing place, well hidden from tourists, but its neglected and abandoned, it has great potentials to be developed into an attraction place. The air is cooler here, next to the river Hrazdan, surrounded with trees, and above all it has history to it. May be oneday it will turn to be a destination point.
