The guide did not speak English, but I was fortunate to have visited with an English-fluent Armenian native. The tour was long and detailed. The guide, who was Kaputikyan's neighbor, has extensive knowledge about the hundreds of artefacts in the apartment and is enthusiastic in how she conveys her information. The artefacts themselves, and their layout, are as they were at the time Kaputikyan was alive. The gift shop is modest.
